SVR General Order 2015-01
1. Effective this date the following commissions are in effect:
a. Private David Salyer is commissioned a Captain, Sons of Veterans Reserve. Captain Salyer will serve as the Commanding Officer of Company B, 8th California Volunteer Infantry,
b. Private Michael Drouin is commissioned a 1st. Lieutenant, Sons of Veterans Reserve. 1st Lieutenant Drouin will serve as the Adjutant of Company B, 8th California Volunteer Infantry.
c. First Sergeant Mark M. Stevens is commissioned a 1st Lieutenant, Sons of Veterans Reserve. 1st Lieutenant Stevens will serve as the Adjutant of Company B, 71st Pennsylvania Infantry.
d. 2nd Lieutenant Thomas E. Helmantoler is commissioned a 1st Lieutenant, Sons of Veterans Reserve. 2nd Lieutenant Helmantoler will serve as Commanding Officer of Company G, 5th California Volunteer Infantry.
e. Private Paul E. Lavrischeff is commissioned a Captain, Sons of Veterans Reserve. Captain Lavrischeff will serve as Commanding Officer Company C, 8th California Volunteer Infantry.
2. These commissions will remain in effect until 16 February 2018 or until properly relieved.
3. The following commissions are hereby surrendered by request of officers. These members will continue to serve the Sons of Veterans Reserve with the ranks denoted:
a. Captain Steven Aquirre, formerly Commander Co. C, 8th California Volunteer Infantry, retaining the rank of Private.
b. 2nd Lieutenant Randy Fletcher, formerly Adjutant Co. B, 71st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, retaining te rank of Private
c. Captain Jerry Sayre, formerly Commander Company G, 5th California Volunteer Infantry, retaining the rank of Sergeant.

1. Effective this date the following commissions are in effect:
a. 1st Lieutenant John J. Green is commissioned and promoted to the rank of Captain, SVR. Captain Green will continue to serve as Commander of Company C, 28th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
b. 2nd Lieutenant Chris M. Harris is commissioned and promoted to the rank of 1st Lieutenant, SVR. 1st Lieutenant Harris will continue to serve as the Adjutant of Company C., 28th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
c. 1st Sgt. Fred Mossbrucker is commissioned a 1st Lieutenant, SVR. 2nd Lieutenant Mossbrucker will continue to serve as the Commander, 7th New Jersey Infantry.
d. 1st Lieutenant Michael E. Erb is re-commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, SVR. 1st Lieutenant Erb will continue to serve as Commander, Weber Guard.
e. 2nd Lieutenant William M. Tojek is re-commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, SVR. 2nd Lieutenant Tojek will continue to serve as Adjutant, Weber Guard.
f. Pvte. Ralph T. Prince commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant SVR. 2nd Lieutenant Prince will serve as Chaplin, Company C., 28th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
2. These commissions will remain in effect until 7 March 2018 or until properly relieved.
3. The following commissions are hereby surrendered by request of officers. These members will continue to serve the Sons of Veterans Reserve with the ranks denoted:
a. 2nd Lieutenant David Hann to the rank of Private in the 7th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry where he will serve as Adjutant.
b. 2nd Lieutenant George F. Hansen to the rank of Private in Company K, 1st U.S. Infantry

1. Major David Lamb, Commander of the 4th Military District, SVR has submitted his resignation to the Commanding General effective 1 June 2015. The Commanding General has accepted this resignation and wishes to thank Major Lamb for his distinguished service that he has provided to the Sons of Veterans Reserve and the members of the 4th Military District.
2. The 4th Military District staff have also tendered their resignations effective 1 June 2015. The Commanding General wishes to thank Captain Court S. Stahr, 4th MD Chief of Staff; Captain Ronald F.
